Christmas tree selections for the governor’s mansion are underway

Christmas tree selections for the governor’s mansion are underway. The Missouri Department of Conservation is conducting its annual search for a large evergreen tree that will serve as the Christmas tree on the lawn of the governor’s mansion in Jefferson City. The chosen tree will be cut and removed at no cost to the owner. The donor will receive a thank-you from the governor and an invitation to the lighting ceremony. Photos of candidate trees should be submitted by October 11.
