Number of children in the state not being vaccinated rises

Ozarks First/Associated Press – An increasing number of children in the state are not being vaccinated. Arkansas Department of Health data shows that the amount of exemptions in the state has jumped by around 25% over the last five years, including students in Arkansas public and private schools. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday that 555 cases of measles have been confirmed in the U.S. this year, adding, the drop in the number of children being vaccinated has contributed to the increase.
