St. Joseph man, arrested in Branson, indicted on drug charges

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A St. Joseph man, arrested in Branson, following a multi county police chase, was indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday on drug possession charges. According to an affidavit, a Christian County sheriff’s deputy attempted to stop 45-year-old Andrew R. Trammell on Highway 65 near Highway EE, on June 6th, but he sped off, prompting a police pursuit into Taney County, where Trammell crashed and was apprehended by Branson officers. Officers searched the wrecked vehicle and found a several pounds of methamphetamine and a large quantity of cash. A court date in the case was not disclosed.
